six! six six! le nombre de la bete!
i've been running around a lot lately.
runrunrunrunrunrunrunrunrunrunrunrunrun.
the cleverly-titled coffee shop is taking up more of my time than i anticipated. i'm slowly getting more comfortable there but time i spend there is always time i wish i was spending with my friends. the place is suprisingly uptight in some respects considering that is appears so easy-going on the surface. like a coffee wolf in coffee sheep's clothing. at least the tips are good. i feel kind of out of place there. a paycheck is nice, but sometimes money costs too much.
on the upside, my music theory course is suprisingly engaging and entertaining. my professor is awesome as hell and we've been sitting around and talking about ennio morricone and synthesizers after class lately. i've been giving it all i've got, which is a terrible lot since it's all about music.
i got drafted into a david bowie cover band with the guys and we're scrambling to put together a set for some party at mallet in a few weeks. i'm only involved if we can successfully play "heroes". everything else is gravy. distortion-soaked gravy.
i'm making bilan a song about my favorite friday the 13th movie (part 8 - jason takes manhattan) and it sounds like my bloody valentine producing the soundtrack to the NES classic "mega man 3".

the new fiery furnaces album is amazing! the new broadcast album is also awesome! i'm slowly warming up to the new broken social scene album! and on top of that i've been listening to lots of... DMX. and, uh, black sabbath. music remains everywhere, which gives me great comfort, which i find very important.
something feels missing. i have a sudden urge to throw my arms around a member of the opposite sex. criteria for said member will come as i find more time to put into the issue. i mean geez, if i'm amassing so much money and have no time to spend it all myself, i might as well buy someone dinner.
